I love how when you are sick, everyone feels the need to tell you exactly what to do and what to take to make you feel better. My girlfriend decided to do the same thing earlier tonight when I told her how sick I was. Take the medicine, use the test strip, drink the decongestant, go to sleep, and so on and so forth. I know her heart is in the right place but it become quite annoying when everyone in your life treats you like you’re their thirteen year old son or brother. I might be able to understand my mom a little more because I guess it is true what they say, I will always be her little boy. But having everybody else doing it, especially when these people are the same age or even younger than you, it is annoying. I was just arguing with a friend of mine about calling in sick to work tomorrow. For some reason she could not understand why I was going to work and in her experience, taking a day when she starts feeling bad instead of going to work helps her feel better. Now, of course I know this and have to explain to her that today was my day and things are very different in college verses when you are out.
