My name is Maria and my current job is being a golf trainer. I have always loved golf but as a child I was too embarrassed to say it. My friends would have made fun of me if they knew that was my favorite hobby. They all thought that only the old people play it. So for that reason alone, as a child I secretly could not wait till I would grow up. Now that I am in my late-sixty’s, I have finally reached my life’s ambition. I am glad that I have something else to resort to now that I am retired. I train professional and unprofessional golf players ranging from the ages fifteen to eighty years old. It was too late for me to realize that any person at any age can play golf. I didn’t have to wait till I had grown up, but I don’t really regret it all that much. My job is fun and unpredictable, and I personally think the inexperienced players are much more fun to train. They are always tripping over their feet or missing the ball. It is not like I am mean or anything, but it is fun to have something to be amused from. It makes me feel young again when I laugh.
