Betting sports can be really fun if you don't get carried away. I mean, everything in moderation, as I always say. I like to do it every now and then, like every Super Bowl or the occasional boxing match. I actually had the best-priced tickets to a boxing match that i had bet against, it was great! Although I love baseball, I very rarely if ever make bets. I just wouldn't feel good about betting against my favorite team, but the Sox are so unreliable! I can't afford to take that kind of risk. My good friend Paul ended up losing his car in a lousy, misguided bet. Can you imagine how sore his wife was at him? I'm surprised she didn't chase him out of the house with a frying pan when he told her! Like I said, you can't get carried away. It was a dumb bet anyway, he picked the laziest looking guy in the match, and the guy had no fight in him at all. Paul just picked him because he was Italian, like Paul himself. He's a stubborn guy though, and once he decides he's going to do something he sees it through. Well there goes his car! You just have to learn to keep yourself in check, or stupid stuff like that will happen to you.
