WILD WEEDS
Just the other day I was thinking about getting a good driveway cleaning done. That won’t fix all the cracks and such, but it’d be a start. Oil and grass stains dot the whole drive and in a few places wild weeds are growing out. I think about doing it myself, but then I realize I’d need to take a whole Saturday to do just that and that’s the day of the week I just want to kick back. So now I only have to go through the phone book and look up some cleaners who would be willing to do the job for me. But the whole front of the house looks terrible. Paint is peeling off the front steps, the mailbox is hanging lopsidedly off one nail and the lawn hasn’t been mowed for a few weeks. I know, I know. I let things get this bad, but I haven’t had the time to worry about upkeep. I keep working more and more overtime at work and then when I get home there’s nothing more I can do than eat and pass out. I’m too tired to even watch TV. I suppose I could call up and have some people fix everything for me, but then that would take some effort to look them all up and then call them. Then we’d talk over the price and there’d be even more hassle.
